General

The basics — what BayBoost is, who it's for, and how it fits with how you run today.

BayBoost is a done-for-you marketing and customer communications service built specifically for independent UK garages to boost the number of customers you can get into your garage bays. We run the systems that bring new bookings in, keep existing customers coming back, and make sure no enquiry ever falls through the cracks.

Behind the scenes, it's automation, AI, and proven workflows. On your side, it's just more vehicles in the bays, and far less time spent chasing phones, replying to messages, and chasing reviews.

Small to mid-sized independent garages, typically 2 to 12 bays. That's the sweet spot. The people we work with are usually owner-operators who'd rather be on the tools than on the phone.

A blank CRM is just a tool. We've built BayBoost as a fully configured service for garages: workflows, message templates, MOT logic, advisory follow-ups, and reporting are all ready on day one. You don't have to build, learn, or maintain any of it.

If you bought the same tools and tried to assemble this yourself, you'd be looking at months of configuration and several thousand pounds in setup costs, and you'd still need someone to keep it running.

No. The whole point is that you don't have to be. Most of what BayBoost does happens automatically. The mobile app gives you a simple, unified inbox for messages and a snapshot of bookings, reviews, and revenue, that's about it.

If you can use a smartphone, you can use BayBoost.

That's not the intention. What it will do is make their day easier with fewer routine calls, fewer "is it ready?" enquiries, and fewer chases. Their time goes to higher-value conversations: building rapport, upselling work, and handling tricky bookings.

BayBoost is a brand of Agile8, based in the UK. We work exclusively with UK garages. All support, onboarding, and account management happen on UK time, in plain English.

Pricing & billing

What it costs, what's included, and how billing works.

Two packages:

  • Foundations — £69/month (or £59/month billed annually)
  • Full Service — £187/month (or £159/month billed annually)

Both include a one-off £139 set-up fee. Cancel any time on the monthly plan, no notice period.

No hidden costs — but you will need a BayBoost number at about £2 a month, and if you want WhatsApp integration too, that's £10 a month. There are a couple of usage-based items that are billed at cost, so you only pay for what you actually use:

  • SMS messaging and emails, typically around £8/month for a busy garage (500 messages, 5,000 emails included)
  • Paid advertising spend on Full Service — your choice, paid direct to Google or Meta, fully transparent

Everything else — workflows, the CRM, the mobile app, reporting, support — is included.

No. Both packages are month-to-month. Cancel any time with no notice period. If you go annual, though, you save 15% — and you can choose to go annual at any time.

We think a service should earn its keep every month, not lock you in.

Yes — and you can do it any time. Upgrading from Foundations to Full Service is instant and we'll prorate the bill. Downgrading takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No fees either way.

For nearly every garage we've worked with, yes — and usually within the first month. The maths is straightforward:

The average UK garage misses 5–10 calls a week. Recovering even half of those at a £280 average job value adds £1,500–£3,000 a month. That's 22–43× the cost of Foundations.

Check out the Packages page and run the actual numbers for your garage before you commit.

Set-up

How we onboard you — and how much of your time it actually takes.

Foundations: live within 5 working days. Full Service: 10 working days, because we're building you a website and setting up additional workflows and the AI employee alongside the core platform.

Around 90 minutes total, split over two short calls:

  • Day 1: a 30-minute kick-off call to capture your services, hours, and brand details
  • Day 4: a 30-minute walk-through of your finished account
  • Plus ~30 minutes to send us your customer list and any branding assets

That's it. We do the building. You keep working.

Ideally, yes — it's how we light up MOT and service reminders for everyone you already work with. Most clients export a CSV from their GMS or invoicing software and hand it over. We handle the import, de-duplication, and clean-up.

Your data is yours. We don't share it, sell it, or use it for anyone else's benefit. You can export it back out, or delete it, at any time.

That's the norm, not the exception. We've imported customer data from spreadsheets, paper books, screenshots — and a couple of memorable cases of "it's all in my head." Send us whatever you have and we'll work with it. New customers from day one will, of course, go straight into the system cleanly.

Integrations

How BayBoost plays with the tools you already use.

No — and we never want to. Garage Hive, TechMan, Autoflow, and the others do an excellent job of running the workshop. Your GMS stays as the system of record for job cards, invoicing, and scheduling.

BayBoost sits alongside it and adds the income-side work that those systems weren't designed for: lead capture, follow-ups, reviews, marketing, and retention.

It works alongside all of them. Where we can, we'll integrate directly — for example, pulling new customer records and MOT-due dates automatically. Where direct integration isn't available yet, we use lightweight workflows (CSV exports, Zapier-style connectors, or our shared inbox) so nothing has to be entered twice.

Yes, we would need to set you up with a new number so missed-call text-back and call tracking work. That would mean you'd need to update your existing marketing materials, your Google profile, and anything your customers already know, and redirect your old number to your new number until customers are familiar with it. We'd also support you in communicating your new number to existing customers. We could also port your number to our system if you don't want to change it. Number porting in the UK typically takes two to four weeks and requires a PAC or STAC code from the existing carrier.

Yes. We help you set up a Meta-approved WhatsApp Business Account so customers can reach you on WhatsApp and you can reply from the same unified inbox as SMS and email. No extra app to check.

Features

A closer look at the more powerful workflows.

The BayBoost Standard is our advisory follow-up system. Every time your tech notes "this'll need doing in three months", tyres at 6mm, brake pads at 4mm, a cambelt due next year, that note becomes a scheduled, polite, useful customer message at exactly the right time.

It's the difference between an advisory note becoming forgotten paperwork or becoming an inbound booking three months later. Available on Full Service.

When a call comes in that you can't answer, within 30 seconds your customer gets an automatic SMS: "Sorry we missed you, can we help you here? [your booking link]." Most respond within a few minutes, and the conversation continues by text or WhatsApp until they're booked in, or they book direct using the booking link that they've been sent.

National data shows roughly 60% of missed callers will go to a competitor if no one calls back. With text-back, the typical recovery rate is 50–70%.

No. Every template is written in a friendly, plain-English tone, the way a good service advisor would talk to a regular. We don't use ALL CAPS, robotic templates, or hard-sell language. We test every message against the brief: would I be happy to receive this from my own garage?

You can also approve or tweak templates before they go live, and adjust the tone to match how you talk to your customers.

Yes. Each site gets its own number, branding, reviews dashboard, and reporting, but you get a single sign-on across all of them. Customers stay attached to their home garage, but data rolls up to a group view for management. Pricing for multi-site is on application, so please get in touch.

An optional pay-as-you-go AI receptionist that can pick up calls when no one's free, answer common questions ("what time do you close?", "do you do MOTs?"), and book straightforward jobs into your calendar. It hands anything tricky straight to a human. You pay only for the calls it handles with no fixed monthly cost.

Data & privacy

Your data, your customers, your reputation. Here's how we treat all three.

All customer data is stored in UK/EU data centres on GDPR-compliant infrastructure. We don't transfer personal data outside the UK and EU for any of the core services. Encryption in transit and at rest is standard.

Yes. We're registered with the ICO and operate under a formal Data Processing Agreement that's signed at onboarding. Customer messages include unambiguous opt-out language and we honour STOP requests automatically.

You can export your full customer database as a CSV at any time, including while you're an active customer. If you cancel, we keep your data accessible for 30 days so you can make a final export, after which it's permanently deleted from active systems.

Messages come from your garage's name and number, in your tone of voice, they read as if you sent them. We don't use "AI" labels or generic branding. When customers reply, those replies land in your inbox so a real person can pick up the conversation seamlessly.
